Do you offer children's classes?

P&S offers classes for children age 7-14. Children’s classes are usually scheduled in the summer months.

Do you teach beginning sewing or quilting?

P&S teaches beginning sewing, quilting and embroidery for adults. Full information about pricing and dates, as well as which topics are covered and skills required can be found in each class description.

Sewing Machine Repairs/Maintenance


What machine brands do you service?

We are an authorized service center for Baby Lock, Brother, and Bernina. Under the guidance of global and national health organizations, P&S is not accepting machines for servicing at this time. As a company we have chosen to prioritize the health and safety of our customers and staff.

Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations on self-maintenance, such as replacing needles, oiling as instructed by your manual and be kind to your machine, and it should continue to return your love for a while yet.

I purchased my machine from P&S, is service included?

P&S offers Free First Year Service in addition to the manufacturer's warranty for select new machines purchased from us. This guarantee is valid for one basic service within a year of purchase and does not include parts or extra labor. This service is not offered on the purchase of discontinued, demo or floor model machines. Find full details on your specific machine's warranty in the warranty card in your box or on the manufacturer's website.

Our repair shop is temporarily closed to protect the health and safety of our customers and staff.
We will be extending the Free First Year Service to qualifying customers the same length of time that our repair shop is closed due to COVID-19.

Products & Services


Can you give me a picture or more information about a product on your website?
We carry an extensive collection of premium quilting fabric and are new to the online store. Our staff is working daily to add photos and update relevant information. If there is a product you can't find or one you think you want but need more information about, please email us at customerservice@patchesandscraps.com and we'll be happy to answer any questions and/or help find your specific product.

Can I still purchase a product with no price online?
Select sewing and embroidery machines are in-store exclusives, which means you must contact us directly to purchase. You can get more information by calling 432-695-9961 or emailing us at customerservice@patchesandscraps.com. 

Can you piece or quilt for me? Do you have a list of people who do?

P&S is a sewing machine dealership and a fabric and notions retailer. We do not offer quilting services for hire. We do offer education about quilting, sewing or embroidery. There is not a list of local sewing/quilting services for hire. Typically, serious small business owners will advertise their services and information via internet search, Facebook ads or classifieds.



Can you make patches, or sew them on?
P&S showroom is temporarily closed to the public and we are not accepting any custom services.

P&S does not create or sell patches to the public. We do offer a customer provided patch sew on service.
We will not deconstruct your item to sew on a patch, but sew through all layers with a machine. This means we cannot sew patches onto areas not easily accessible on a standard machine and the stitching will show on the back.  For more information about your specific needs, contact us at 432-695-9961, by emailing customerservice@patchesandscraps.com, or by stopping by in person.

Can I purchase feet, hoops for my machine online? What about repair parts?
We sell all accessories for Brother, Baby Lock, and Bernina. OEM parts are required to be purchased only through our physical location. Most repair parts must be processed through our repair department and require installation by a certified technician. To complete actual repairs, please bring your machine in for service. Some customer replaceable parts, such as bobbins, bobbin cases, needle plates, foot controls and power cords can be purchased directly without a service appointment.
